Jenna Lyons’s conspicuous absence at BravoCon 2023, the extravagant three-day gathering held in Las Vegas that drew over 160 beloved Bravolebrities, prompted speculation among fans and fellow Real Housewives of New York City cast members. Now, the fashion icon is shedding light on her decision to forgo the Sin City event and miss out on the camaraderie.
While gracing the red carpet at the CFDA Fashion Awards, Lyons candidly shared her reasons, “I had some personal matters to attend to.” Playfully, the former J. Crew president quipped, “I had some absolutely vital thumb-twiddling duties.”
Expanding on her absence, she clarified, “In all seriousness, I had a prior engagement and other personal commitments that couldn’t be postponed. Unfortunately, I had to catch a flight that very evening, so the stars didn’t align for BravoCon this time.”
Despite Lyons’s absence, several of her co-stars, including Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, and Sai De Silva, did grace the event with their presence, ensuring that the Real Housewives spirit was still very much alive.
Intriguingly, during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Lyons hinted at uncertainty regarding her return for another season of the reality series. Meanwhile, the ever-enthusiastic Andy Cohen expressed his desire for her to make a comeback at BravoCon, saying, “I am confident that I want her to return, and I hope she does.”
